On February 27th, a letter was sent from twenty City Council members to the Mayor calling for fishable, swimmable waterways in NYC ! Here is a link to the letter.
40 % of the entire City Council signed on to the letter!! The letter also raises concerns about the City's proposed plans to chlorinate overflows before they discharge into Flushing Creek, Alley Creek, and Westchester Creek.
